Cookery School!!

We made fairy cakes. First we rolled up our sleeves and washed our hands. Then we got the ingredients in the recipe. We needed flour, eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla essence. We mixed all the ingredients in a large bowl. Mrs. Magnier helped us put them into the oven and take them out when they were baked. We put sprinkles on top and ate them. They were delicious. Yum. Yum. We made a bit of a mess but we had great fun.

Knex Workshop

As part of the Galway Science and Technology festival we were lucky to be chosen to take part in a Knex workshop. Our task was to design and build a space rocket. First we talked about what we were going to build. Then we drew a picture of our rocket and finally we built it. Some rockets had doors and windows. Some had an engine. All the rockets had a pointy top so they could go into space.
