Science Work

We sorted materials into rough and smooth.





We did some experiments with sweets. We predicted what might happen when we put water in the bowls of sweets.



Eoin poured in the water.



We watched and waited.



The colours came out of the M & M's and skittles.



Only sugar came out of the jellies.



We spoke about what happened. We now know that sweets are made from sugar and too much sugar is not good for our teeth or bodies.

Our Halloween Fun Day

Aquarium
We made a fish aquarium by using wet paint with glitter. Then we made our own fish out of paper. We made sharks and eels and butterfish and clown fish. Then we used a glue stick to glue them to the paper.

Beautiful Butterflies
We made a butterfly. We glued colourful material on the butterfly. We cut it out.Then we made a beautiful butterfly. We put pipe cleaners as the antennae.

Our Lambs.



We made lambs today with cotton wool.
We cut them out. We coloured them too.

Bird's-Eye View.



We made a birds-eye view of the school. A birds-eye view is when you are on top of something. If you look down it's called a bird's eye view.

Grass Heads









We used compost and grass and mixed them up.
Then we put them into tights.
We will water them until they grow.

We made St. Bridget's crosses and coloured pictures of St. Bridget.

We glued sticks to a picture of a hedgehog. Then we painted them.

We made our snowmen out of clay. We used paper to make snowflakes.

Halloween Fun Day.
We had lots of fun at the Halloween Fun Day. It was great!! We got to wear our costumes and masks.
